Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Works primarily on small projects; larger ones with some direction from supervisors. • Assists in data collection, technical analyses, and written documentation (with supervision as needed). • Writes small letter proposals or pieces of larger proposals. • Assists in client contact and participation in presentations to specific projects in a supporting role. • Uses computer assisted engineering, design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents. • Responsible for job specific quality system tasks as defined in quality manual.

DENVER WATER - ENGINEER II, III, IV DAM SAFETY
The Denver Water Dam Safety Section is responsible for the safety, rehabilitation, maintenance and repairs to the existing 18 dams and 24 tunnels in the Denver Water system. Included with these facilities is the maintenance and operations of four projects that fall under the FERC jurisdiction. Denver Water is currently recruiting a mid level Engineer (Engineer II, III, IV) to serve as an integral member of our Dam Safety Staff. The candidate must be proficient in Civil, Hydrologic and Hydraulic, Structural, Geotechnical, Geologic or Mechanical Engineering as it relates to Dam and Tunnel Engineering.
