Construction Field Tech and Inspector - Aug '10

Job Description: The successful candidate will be required to be thoroughly knowledgeable regarding the standard test methods for all test performed by a field technician and inspector, and perform these tests in the field. Duties also includes maintaining of proper and complete files of field and laboratory data, reports, letters, and other pertinent field data, maintain clear communications with the Project Manager regarding all aspects of the field operations including providing of neat and orderly project documentation.

Education: The ideal candidate will have soil & concrete testing experience or equivalent. WAQTC, ICC (Structural Masonry), NICET, ACI (field and lab) and nuclear gauge certifications preferred.

Required Skills: Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. Must have a current valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Senior Staff or Project Level Environmental Professional - Aug '10
Job Description: Ninyo & Moore has an immediate opening in their Denver County office for a Staff or Project Level Environmental Professional. The successful candidate should have experience in Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, periodic groundwater monitoring and reporting, and field oversight for remediation projects. Although it is not required for this position, it will be a strong plus if the applicant has experience in managing projects.

Education: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field. A graduate degree and/or professional registration is a plus.

Required Skills: Three or more years of experience, preferably with an environmental consulting firm performing the duties described above. The successful candidate will have work experience with site assessment and remediation activities including landfills, UST/petroleum, roadways, chlorinated solvents, metals, and pesticide contaminated sites. Candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.

Land Development Intern - August '10
Seeking highly motivated, task oriented, responsible civil engineer to assist Project Managers and Project Engineers with land development and water resource engineering projects. The selected applicant intern will complete introductory engineering tasks, compile data, prepare specifications and plans and various other duties as necessary. Land development work includes site layout, storm drainage, roads, utility infrastructure and erosion and sediment control design. Stormwater work includes stormwater management, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater design, water resources civil works/flood control, and ecosystem restoration. In this position, the selected applicant will have a unique opportunity to become a critical team member and will be mentored to take on increasing responsibility at an accelerated pace.
